Study to examine Covid-19 vaccination in humanitarian settings
A hera team carried out a study in Cox’s Bazar (Bangladesh), Colombia, DRC, Iraq, South Sudan and Syria, to better understand good practice as well as challenges faced on the equitable deployment and administration of COVID-19 vaccines to reach populations of concern in humanitarian settings. The research also looked to understand measures taken to mitigate impact on essential health services including routine immunisation. The findings will be used to help identify good practice for shared learning both across cluster settings and at regional and global level as well as challenges where further support from the global level could be provided.
Stay tuned for the Public report synthesising findings across 6 settings, on good practice, lessons learned, challenges faced and any solutions including development of infographics, tools, summary briefs.
